Welcome the Daybreak Rotary of Cedar Rapids.  Our membership is representative of the young and young at heart, male and female, and a great range of vocations. Daybreak Rotary meets Fridays at Cedar Rapids Country Club at 550 27th Street Dr. SE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at 7am.  Yes, we get up early in the morning- and we are united in our commitment to Rotary's mission of Service Above Self.

Meet at the former Polk Elementary School (1500 B Ave NE, Cedar Rapids) for a special meeting this Friday!

Daybreak Rotary won't meet at CRCC this week. While we each take this time for personal reflection on our gratitude and blessings, let's also reflect on the opportunities provided by our own membership in Daybreak Rotary.  

The Rotary Youth Exchange program is an amazing opportunity for high school students with a passion for foreign study.  
 
This summer a new Board of Directors was elected for Cedar Rapids Daybreak Rotary.
 
 
At this morning's meeting Daybreak thanked Ray Rinkol for his leadership over the past year and welcomed its new president, David Drewelow.

Since 2002 Daybreak Rotary has supported, mentored and encouraged students to excel in school and pursue higher education as a real, attainable goal in their lives through its Legacy for Learning program. Learn about Maurisa, one of Daybreak Rotary's Legacy for Learning grant recipients, as she embarks on an important new endeavor.

Registration information is now available for RYLA! Iowa RYLA, a joint conference of Rotary Districts 5970 and 6000 will be a 6-day leadership conference held at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.  Youth will attend from nearly all of Iowa. Get the Who/What/Where/When/Why here!
Daybreak meetings were held at various locations while Cedar Rapids Country Club did some pre-spring cleaning, but our weekly meetings will resume at our fantastic home again February 12.

Please note that Cedar Rapids Country Club will be closed for a few weeks, so Daybreak will be taking its meetings on the road January 29th and February 5th!
 
 

crdaybreak.com has been a great source of information for Daybreak membership, but with a move to a tool designed for Rotary by Rotary, our new site has additional data integration capabilities than ever before.

 

At the June 26 Daybreak Rotary meeting we thanked President John Myers for his leadership and welcomed new president, Ray Rinkol.
