The Rotary International Youth Exchange Program is a scholarship for an academic year of study in a foreign high school as a guest of a Rotary group in that country. Each student will be hosted by an entire Rotary group composed of professionals from all segments of the foreign culture. This gives the student immediate access to the society and a variety of people to introduce them to the country, language and culture.
Exchange programs are available in most foreign countries, and effort is made to place students in a county that allows them to use their second language skills.
An applicant must be a high school sophomore, junior or senior. Exchange can take place in the junion, senior or post senior year. High school students from the Greater Cedar Rapids/Linn County area are invited to apply. Candidates must have at least two years of foreign language education.
To apply for this program, please submit an application or contact us for more information.
