About Our Club - Foundation Donation

Club donors may direct their gifts to three main funds: the Annual Programs Fund, which supports the Foundation's humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs worldwide; the Permanent Fund, which provides an endowment; and the PolioPlus Fund working to eradicate polio from the world.

Our club goal is that every Daybreak Rotary member supports the Rotary Foundation every year. Daybreak is proud to annually be a District leader in total contributions and per capita contributions to the Rotary Foundation.

Daybreak annually supports Rotary International's Youth Exchange program, by sending students abroad and accepting international student's into member homes.

Our members have also been involved in International Group Study Exchange as team leaders, hosting incoming GSE members and many international projects and grant programs.

Donors of US$1,000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus, or the Humanitarian Grants Program, or people who have that amount contributed in their name, can be recognized as Paul Harris Fellows. Each new Paul Harris Fellow receives a commemorative certificate, a pin, and a medallion.
